Hiroshima At A Glance: The City Pins

Central pins on this map cluster around Peace Memorial Park, where the museum and the A-Bomb Dome sit within a short walk of one another, and the dome can be viewed from outside the fence at no charge. Hiroshima's tram lines link these stops, and distances between them stay short, so most of the center works well on foot or by tram.

Miyajima And The Day-Trip Region

Ferries from Miyajimaguchi reach Miyajima in about 10 minutes, with JR sailings roughly every 15 minutes from 8:00 to 18:00. Iwakuni, Kure, and Onomichi lie further out and suit a longer day trip. A 100 yen Miyajima visitor tax is charged separately on entering the island.
